Ghana tours — frequently asked questions
What are the best places to visit on a Ghana tour?
The highlights most travellers ask for are the Cape Coast and Elmina slave castles, the Kakum National Park canopy walkway, Mole National Park for elephant safaris, the Volta region's waterfalls and mountains, and Accra's food, art and nightlife. Cadabra Tours builds every Ghana itinerary around the attractions you choose.
How much does a Ghana tour package cost?
Every Ghana tour is priced around your budget, dates and group size — there is no fixed package price you have to fit into. Send us your details through the contact page or WhatsApp and we will return a costed itinerary, usually within 24 hours.
When is the best time to visit Ghana?
The dry season from November to March is the most comfortable for coastal and northern travel, and December is peak season for festivals and Detty December events. Wildlife viewing in Mole National Park is strongest between December and April.
Do I need a visa to visit Ghana?
Most travellers need a visa, obtained before arrival from a Ghanaian mission or online. Once your trip is confirmed we send a checklist covering entry requirements, vaccination guidance and the documents you will need.
Can I book a private Ghana tour for my family or group?
Yes. We run private trips for solo travellers, couples, families and corporate groups, as well as small curated group departures. Transport, airport transfers, accommodation and guides can all be bundled into one itinerary.
